RemitTrac: Archive Overview
The RemitTrac platform from ImageScan Inc. includes a powerful archive module that features flexible lookup capabilities, real-time updating, excellent audit functions and the ability to store data on both hard disk and optical platters. The system has built-in lookup capabilities that enable users to retrieve information from any data-entry field, including payor, batch number, check amount and invoice number. And unlike competing payment processing products that update their archives at the end of the day (and make users wait an additional hour), the RemitTrac archive is updated as the day proceeds: soon after a batch is encoded, all data entry, invoice and check information for the transaction is archived. If corrections are made on the system, the batch is automatically re-queued for archive. Additionally, the archive module allows supervisors to audit who worked on a batch or item, as well as review which operator keyed an item at a specific pass. Data from the RemitTrac archive can even be exported to a separate archive directory for storage in an enterprise-wide archive, including those from third party vendors.
