Corporate Overview

Since 1993, ImageScan Inc. of Lanham, Md., has grown to become a leading provider of high-performance imaging solutions for the end-to-end processing of customer payments. Through aggressive in-house development and software standardization, ImageScan offers a complete suite of scaleable PC-based products for: standalone or fully-integrated wholesale and retail lockbox processing; high-speed remittance processing; and wholetail processing. Listed below are a few reasons why ImageScan has an unmatched reputation for providing advanced, cost-effective solutions to the payment processing market:

  • Successful wholesale, retail, and wholetail installations at more than 21 institutions, including: Bank of New York, Citizens Bank, First Tennessee, Fleet, J.P. Morgan Chase, Key Bank, US Bank, and Union Bank of California.
  • More than a third of ImageScan’s revenues are reinvested in product development and customer support; ImageScan has grown more than 300 percent since 1993.  Image Scan’s RemitTrac product line has become widely accepted, thanks largely to its cutting-edge technology.
  • A flexible, open architecture (based on the industry standard Windows framework) that supports leading-edge components such as NCR, Unisys, IBML and Kleindienst check transports; HP and Lexmark printers; and Captiva's FormWare data entry and forms processing.
  • The “Proven Path” in customer support and installation programs. Including pre-staging of new image systems, remote dial-in access, 24-hour telephone support, a computerized call-tracking system, a dedicated quality assurance group, and comprehensive documentation such as supervisor and operator manuals and quarterly customer newsletter.
  • Annual user group meetings where customers can participate in informative breakout sessions, review new product and service offerings, provide input to ImageScan’s product development team, and network with other processors.
